Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha: 55kms/1hr drive

Welcome to Arusha, Tanzania ! Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our representative/guide and driven to Gold Crest Hotel for overnight stay on (BB) basis.

While in our care, your safety and security are our number one priority. As such, in the unlikely event of serious illness or injury, all guests are provided with a “Flying Doctors” insurance policy.

Day 2: Arusha - Kondoa (Rock Paintings visit): 300kms/5hrs

Embark on a fascinating journey today after breakfast as you depart to Kondoa, where you'll discover a world of ancient rock paintings that have been preserved for over a millennium. These stunning natural rock shelters, formed by overhanging sedimentary rocks, were carefully selected by our ancestors to create timeless works of art.

Accompanied by your trusty picnic boxes, you'll get to explore the intricate details of these breathtaking paintings that have been passed down through generations. Day 3: Babati - Tarangire National Park, 70kms/1hr drive

On this third day, embark on a romantic trip with your loved one to Tarangire, Tanzania's third largest national park and sanctuary, for an unforgettable game drive experience.

After a delightful breakfast, you will depart to witness the park's unusually large elephant population and explore the majestic baobab trees which are an interesting feature of the park. The trees dwarf the animals feeding beneath them, providing a surreal sight.

As you continue on your game drive, you will notice that the animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which is the only permanent water supply in the area. This concentration of wildlife provides a great diversity of animals, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and up to six thousand elephants. With a picnic lunch in hand, you can enjoy a romantic meal while surrounded by breathtaking views and natural wonders.

Day 4: Tarangire - Lake Natron: 75kms/1.5hrs drive

As we approach Lake Natron, prepare to witness one of nature's most breathtaking spectacles. This pristine lake is the most important breeding site for flamingos in the world and the only breeding site for flamingos in East Africa. The unique crust created by the alkali salt in the lake gives it a stunning red or pink hue, or even orange in the shallower parts, by the microorganisms that thrive there. But that's not all, the adventure continues as we explore the mesmerizing waterfalls in the area. Day 9: Departure
