Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha:55kms/1hr drive
On arrival in Kilimanjaro International airport you will be transferred to Arusha town.
Overnight at Gold Crest Hotelon bed and breakfast basis.
Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire national park:120kms/2hrs drive
After breakfast depart for Tarangire, Tanzania’s third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population for game drive, with picnic lunch. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs and up to six thousand elephants.
Dinner and overnight at Sangaiwe Tented lodge on full board basis.
Day 3: Tarangire - Lake Manyara National Park:75kms/1.5hrs drive
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara national park for a game drive. This park has the highest concentration of monkeys in north Tanzania. You will also have opportunity to see the rare tree climbing lions, giraffes, elephants, hippos, impalas and lots of birds.
Dinner and overnight at Country Inn Karatu on full board basis.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater tour - Serengeti national park (Central):145kms/3.5hrs drive
Today after breakfast you drive to Ngorongoro Crater floor for your last game drive. It shelters close to 30.000 animals including the Big Five. Ngorongoro crater is a world heritage sitewhich is home to zebras, buffaloes, lions, wildebeest, baboons, elephants, flamingos, ostriches, hippos, cheetahs and also the rare black rhino. The beautiful colours and dancing clouds make the crater almost surreal.
Because of its natural beauty the Ngorongoro Crater is chosen as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. Dinner and overnight at Embalakai Camp on full board basis.
Day 5: Central Serengeti
After breakfast you will drive to Central Serengeti for game drive with picnic lunch. In this area of the park you will have opportunity to see big prides of lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, giraffes, elephants, different antelopes and other wildlife.
 Dinner and overnight at Embalakai Camp on full board basis.
Day 6: Serengeti - Zanzibar
Today you will depart with picnic boxes and be transferred to Arusha airport to take your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival on the tropical island you will be transferred to the historical Kholle House at Stone town for an overnight on bed and breakfast. Read more about Zanzibar.
Day 7: Stone town - Matemwe
Explore the historical Stone Town. It is a fascinating labyrinth of narrow streets and alleyways that are a joy to explore. Discover the architectural gems, tasteful restaurants, churches, markets and gardens. There are plenty of interesting places to visit on a cultural tour, like the House of Wonders, Darajani market place, Sultan’s Palace and the Slave Market. The mix of Arab, Persian, Indian and European influences makes Stone Town absolutely unique.
In the late afternoon you drive to Matemwe Beach (spice tour en route) for an overnight at Zanzibar Queenon half board (dinner and breakfast provided).
Day 8: Beach Relaxation
The next 2 nights you can relax at the beautiful Matemwe Beach. This is one of the best beaches on the island. It has a relaxed atmosphere with beautiful white sandy beaches and turquoise water that gently rolls onto the beach. You can spend the entire day at the beach, since the beaches in this northern part of the island are not as tidal.
If you like to be more active, there are plenty of options, from village walks and sailing to scuba diving and snorkelling. You can book the activities at the Zanzibar Queen where you stay on half baord basis (dinner and breakfast provided).
Day 9: Beach Relaxation
Another day to relax on the beach. If you like to be more active, there are plenty of options, from village walks and sailing to scuba diving and snorkelling.

Day 10: Departure
After breakfast your private driver transfers you to Zanzibar Airport for your departure flight home as per your details.
